What to bring on your Teaching Placement?

General

Small rucksack, along with your main rucksack
Light clothes
Swimming gear
Towel (travel towel or hand towel is adequate)
Sunglasses
Sun protection cream
Basic toiletry kit

Novels to read
A small address book with your friends and family's telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
Travellers cheques, credit card (preferably VISA in South America)
Money belt
Photocopy of all important documents
Torch
Plug adaptorif you are taking electric equipment
Universal sink plug
Medical kit
Sanitary towels
Baby Wipes
Concentrated hand/face wash
Cell phone (which can accept third party SIM cards). WE will help you to buy a local SIM on arrival at your project and this is the easiest and cheapest way of staying in touch with other volunteers in Argentina.

Binder.
This will help in keeping all lesson plans and photocopies of worksheets prepared for your classes
Books and other bibliography.
Books on teaching in general for your own reference, grammar or activity books or workbooks are always useful for using in your classes
English-spanish / English-English / Spanish-spanish dictionary.
A dictionary always comes in handy, especially when reviewing vocabulary. This will also be helpful in general during your time in Argentina
Smart clothing.
Personal presentation is always important. Dressing smart, especially for university classes will definitely gain respect in the classroom
